Here’s an obscurity from the Tumblers, a quartet from Mt. Pocono, Stroudsburg and Bangor, towns in the eastern part of the Pennsylvania. They had one release on the Pocono label from July, 1965.
I think we can safely say this was not influenced by the British Invasion. The incredible “Scream” was ‘written’ by Larry LaSpina, and backed with a ballad, “Make You All Mine”, another LaSpina original.
Members of the band were:
Larry LaSpina
Daniel Altieri
Alex Coury
Huck Gould – bass and vocals
Does anyone have a photo of the group?
The record was cut in 1965. Larry and the band were all from the Poconos in the East Stroudsburg area. They mostly played local resorts and clubs during that period. The record was briefly a top ten hit locally and in the Allentown area.

I remember them. Thier homebase was Altieri’s Music Store on Lower main. Huck was the first drummer for the initial Vestells. The good old days!
Larry LaSpina was my dad. He passed last year 6/9/23. Huck is my Uncle and I’m still in contact With Alex.
Hi Laure. Mick Rino here. Your dad and I were very close friends from 1965 through around 1980. I was best man at his wedding. I do remember you too but you were quite young. Sorry to hear about your dad passing and that we lost touch.
I have pictures
