Couriers C.V. Records 45 FeelingsUpdated July and August 2010The Couriers formed in 1965 and recorded this one fine record on a Lancaster, Pennsylvania label, C.V. Records.

“Stomping Time Again” is something out of a 50’s hop, but the snare drum slams the beat and the vocals are slurred a bit. This record was reissued years ago on red vinyl, primarily because doo wop collectors valued this side. The song was written by Harry Strother and Steve Kurtz.

The b-side was “Feelings”. The band takes their intro from the Kinks and goes into typical Louie Louie changes but manages to create an original and memorable song – mainly from the notable singing of Steve Kurtz. It’s one of my very favorite songs of this era. It was written by Steve Kurtz and Neil Schuck.

Other members were unknown to me until members and friends commented below, from which the updated info in this post is taken.

Members included:

Steve Kurtz – vocals
Harry Strother – guitar
Neil “Butch” Schuck
Carl Beyer – bass
Dave Johnson – keyboards
Bob Bitts – drums
Dick Dunkle – drums
Larry Spece
Tim Miller

Steve Kurtz wrote in his comment below:

We didn’t exactly disappear after “Stompin’ Time”. We were supposed to cut two more 45’s as per our informal contract with Chuck Raymond and Pancho, who awarded us the opportunity to make records after we won a Battle Of The Bands at Moose Hall in Lancaster. We never did cut those other two sides, but, for us as a band, the experience of recording and releasing “Stompin’ Time Again” was a wonderful thing. It even got to #8 on the WLAN Top 60. I still think it sounds great to hear it, and I’ve always thought it sounded less “local” than most of the records cut by Lancaster bands, with the exception of The Shaynes, who I thought cut two very cool records themselves, “You Tell Me Girl” and “From My Window”.

Those were heady days, and I wouldn’t trade the experience I had playing with Hoagie Strother, Butch Schuck, Dick Dunkle, Dave Johnson (deceased), Bob Bitts (deceased), and Carl Beyer for anything in the world.

The band played their last show at the 421 Club in February, 1968.

Harry Strother, aka Hoagie went on to play lead guitar for Jay and the Techniques from Allentown.

The band became Little Stevie & the Couriers.

Thank you to all who commented for the info on the group and to Carl Beyer for the photos and poster.

  1. The Couriers was a fine band as they progressed they became known as Little Stevie and the Couriers. I beleive they recorded more than just this record. CV label did disappear but PV records took over in Lancaster.

  2. The Strother listed on the label is Harry Strother “Hoagie”…..he wrote this song and feelings…….he went on to play Lead Guitar with Jay and the Techniques from Allentown and who performed on Ed Sullivan with “Keep the Ball Rollin” and “Apple, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie”. He later than played with the Younger Brothers Band (the local version).

  3. Thanks Chas, for the kind words. We didn’t exactly disappear after STOMPIN’ TIME. We were supposed to cut two more 45’s as per our informal contract with Chuck Raymond and Pancho, who awarded us the opportunity to make records after we won a Battle Of The Bands at Moose Hall in Lancaster. We never did cut those other two sides, but, for us as a band, the experience of recording and releasing STOMPIN’ TIME AGAIN was a wonderful thing. It even got to #8 on the WLAN Top 60. I still think it sounds great to hear it, and I’ve always thought it sounded less “local” than most of the records cut by Lancaster bands, with the exception of The Shaynes, who I thought cut two very cool records themselves, YOU TELL ME GIRL and FROM MY WINDOW. Those were heady days, and I wouldn’t trade the experience I had playing with Hoagie Strother, Butch Schuck, Dick Dunkle, Dave Johnson (deceased), Bob Bitts (deceased), and Carl Beyer for anything in the world. Thanks for your time.

  4. I was very pleasantly surprised to learn some of the history of the couriers, I grew up in Lancaster and listened to WLAN extensively. As a collector of 45’s from my teenage years, I believe it is likely that I am the only person in Atlanta, Ga to have these records (You tell me girl and From my window by the Shaynes plus Stomping time again by the Couriers). I would be interested in any information about Steve Kurtz, where he is today, what he’s doing, etc.

  5. I grew up with those bands actually played at a few venues as an opening act. Shep and The Ramrods, later Shep and The Stingrays, then Fabulous Showman, and lastly the Viscounts. I use to practice with members of The Shaynes and The Couriers. They are still in the Lancaster area some have been recording as a group called Class of 1960 they have 3 CDs out recorded in York PA. I now sing as Mick Diamond solo act locally.

  6. I am so happy to have found this on the web! Carl Beyer is my dad and I know some of the band members, particularly Hoag and Steve. Although it has been a long time since I have seen them I have fond memories of them and my dad having some jam sessions at their houses. Can’t wait to tell my dad abou this site!! Steve I hope you see this and know that “courtsweets” says hello!!

  7. Among the Lancaster bands two stand outs haven’t been mentioned the first is The Tranells with “Come On and Tell Me” a great R&B song and The Crystalaires with “Somebody Nowhere” a rare find only 100 copies exist. They were killed in a car crash coming back from Harrisburg Pa after recording the song and the parents stopped the presses after the 100 copies made it to the public. The Viscounts hailed from Willowstreet PA they had a lead singer named Mike Campbell who had a voice equal to Bobby Vintons, I was his best friend unfortunately he hung himself in his senior year (Lampeter-Strasburg HS)I use to back up sometimes on rythum guitar. Lancaster had a lot of garage bands spreading out to the suburbs like Lampeter PA, Willowstreet, Manheim etc. The shaynes two songs mentioned above were great but Butch King the lead singer most requested song was his performance of Valerie (original by Joey Dee and the Starliters).

  8. Back again! I wanted to say “HEY” to my girl Courtney, aka Courtsweets, the sweetest gal around! Carl and Darlene’s daughter with a family of her own now. Where does the time go? Somebody tell me…please. I hope all’s well with you and your family.

Speaking of time, in a few days I turn the big Six Oh! Can ya believe it? I can’t, and what this means is…it’s been over forty years since The Couriers played their last note, at the 421 Club on Strasburg Pike in Lancaster. It was a Sunday night and it was hard to believe it was over. For better and for worse…mostly for better…our time as a unit came to an end.

A few years ago, I’m guessing seven or eight maybe?, we got together at the STOMPIN’ TIME AGAIN CD release party at an establishment along Oregon Pike that’s been torn down now. I forget the name. We were invited onstage to acknowledge our music on the disc. Believe me when I tell you how special it was for me to once again share a stage with Hoag, Carl, Dick, and Neil (Butch). Unfortunately, Dave Johnson was ill at the time and couldn’t attend and Bittsy? Who knows? He never responded to any of our little get-togethers and we missed him, but I’m sure he had his reasons.

Anyway, I just wanted to share a few memories that have always stood out for me as a member of The Couriers…

The Thanksgiving Eve show we did at The Redwood House on Columbia Ave. in, I’d guess, 1967? Personally, I think that was the best we ever sounded. The place was packed and from the first song, we had ’em. It was amazing.

The Christmas Week Battle of The Bands in York, where we came in second and then, upon getting back to Lancaster, were invited to the Moose Hall to make a special appearance at a show there. We kicked ass that night, like we did the night we won the Battle of The Bands at the Moose to win the record contract.

Even tho’ some nights were a drain on the patience and stamina, I’d like to think we always gave it our best, and I can’t talk about the band without talking about the efforts of Carl’s Dad, Carl F. Beyer Sr., who meant so much to us, even tho’ we may not have shown it at the time. He was an integral part of everything we did, from truckin’ us around to building the riser Dick Dunkle played from at the Finals of the Battle of The Bands. Pop, we loved you and we appreciated all you did. Because we were young and not especially prone to distributing laurels, you may not have felt our respect at the time, but I hope at some point we were able to thank you and show you how much a part of us you were. We honestly, truly, no kiddlingly couldn’t have done it without you. From our hearts, I say this…THANKS POP!

And thanks to The Couriers for putting up with a kid who could sing a little, move around a little, and loved being on stage with such talented bandmates. It was a privilege to have played with each of you…Harry (Hoagie) Strother, Carl (The Nose) Beyer, Neil (Butch) Schuck, Dick Dunkle, Bob Bitts, Dave (a great keyboard player) Johnson, Larry Spece, Tim Miller, and even the guy who covered me a few times and had me thinking I might be out of a job…Tom Marion, a great singer and a great friend.

And, if memory serves, Doug Phillips from The Sharks even sat in with us a night or two.

Like I said earlier, those were heady times and for a young guy who loved singing but never thought he’d be able to do it for audiences and a little spending money…well, for those few years, I was the luckiest kid in the world.

And it’s something I grow more proud of as the years go by.

    Thanks again for your time.

  9. Kurt is that you? Where have you been? We are right where we have always been. What about this web site? As Ray Schuck would say KOOL. Court put me on to this site and it flipped me out. When I saw the record and the name for the first time I said ” NO WAY” God bless you Chas. I sent a photo to Chas to post. I hope it got there alright.I have another memory for you. How about the time we left Dave( May He Rest In Peace) at the firehall in Brickerville and went to Hangout to do a gig.Rember what I said about ” Looks like we have to do the show————–” Do you rember what it was. It was great times and i’m glad that because of Chas and other people involved in oldies and the bands, groups like ours will never die. Again, THANKS CHAS KIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Thanks for the bit about Pop. Don;t you think that I especially wish I and we had done something special for him. Always too late

  10. Thanks Chris for posting the photo. I’m glad all went well on my end.I’m not the computer “techie” so I was afraid I would mess it up somehow. The members of the group are as follows. Starting from the left— Me (no one else has a nose like that in our band) On bass— then Harry “Hoagie” Strother on lead guitar— Dick “the original drummer” Dunkle– Neil “Butch” Shuck on guitar —-kneeling is Steve “Little Stevie” Kurtz lead vocals—- and last on keyboard, the Late Great Dave”Fingers” Johnson. Dick was on drums for the recording of ” Stompin Time” Thanks again. Carl “The Nose” Beyer

  11. Hey Steve,

Chris bishop has my e-mail address if you want to drop me a line.

    A “Blast From the Past”…..

    Denny

(Yeah…..the Denny that was with you and the Couriers way, way back.)

  12. Heard your song on youtube.Great song.Great background story on the group. Thanks for taking the time to post it.With youtube, your song just got a worldwide release(long overdue)It is just a good recording.

  13. Thanks for the correction I have been trying to buy a copy of this song yet I never heard it but the rumors still travel that it was the best song to come out of Lancaster.

  14. Hi Dennis – Just wanted to let you know that I have “Nobody Nowhere” by The Crystalaires of Lancaster, PA, posted on my YouTube channel. Now you can finally get to hear it, as well as get the real story of the tragic events of that fateful night, so long ago. I understand the importance of this record, locally, and feel quite fortunate to have one of the few remaining copies in existence. I searched YouTube for it and it wasn’t posted by anyone else, so I thought it was time to share it with the world.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rG9WJEf6qvg
Also, Steve Kurtz is my cousin and I saw him today while visiting his 92 year old mother at Lancashire Hall in Neffsville, PA. Steve looks great and is doing very well. It was so cool seeing him again! We had a real nice time.
And lastly, your info on The Shaynes & Couriers members being part of Class Of ’60 Somethin’ was a bit clouded. I was a founding member of the “Class” since it began back in 1995 and continue to do shows with them. Our next one is April 9, 2011 at the York Fairgrounds. The Class Of ’60 Somethin’ is comprised of original members of The Magnificent Men, Class Act feat. Rita, The Del-Chords and my old group, Custer’s Last Band. Anyone interested in attending the show in April may get tickets at:

Hey Dennis – when are you gonna post some photos of The Viscounts – would love to see some!!!
    Regards,
    Thom “Daddy C” Colson

  15. First, I would like to thank you Chris for this great site. Its been a real blast from the past. *I feel very lucky to have been part of the Couriers. I think often of the many great time we had practicing in Dick Dunkles and my basement and playing all those great gigs. I’ve known these guys most of my life. I would love one day to get together and talk about all the good times we had. I know they were not all good, but for the most part they were the best days of my life. Steve,Neil,Carl,Dick and Dave were more like brothers to me then just friends. My sister Tooter started a scrap book of us when we first started playing back in the eary 60’s on a flat bed truck, you guys shoud see this. It was some great times. And Steve you are right without Pop where would we have been. Hoagie Strother

  16. Well, that makes three of us on here now. I wish Neil (Butch) would find this site and comment as well! And Dick Dunkle…the original Couriers 5!

A lot of people may not remember that that was the original band…The Couriers 5…Hoagie, Carl, Dick, Neil, and myself.

We were the guys who make their debut at (I believe) Chi Phi fraternity at F&M College in Lancaster. Or was it the Ski and Crutch Club? Help me out here guys!

I do remember losing my lunch before those first few shows…the nerves were gettin’ the best of me.

I agree with Hoag…we have to have another reunion soon before…well, you know.

And it’s not well known but the original Couriers 5 plus keyboardist extraordinaire Dave Johnson got together a number of years ago with the intention of doing a benefit show, as were a few of the local bands at that time.

To be honest, it was me who put the kabosh to that possibility with a hissy fit that I’m not proud of, but s*it happens, ya know? I still have dreams…I’m not kidding…of what that night could have been and what it might have sounded like.

We were somewhat on our way to making it happen, but it didn’t. I take the blame and if anyone in our band was hurt by my insensitivity, I apologize.

A little late in the game, but sincere nonetheless.

There. That feels better (insert smilie face here).

And, as Hoag stated, these guys were like brothers. Heck, you don’t spend all that time with each other and not feel SOMETHING!

And that something, as the years go by, turns out to be brotherhood.

    Who knew?

They were my boys, they had my back, and still do.

Funny how life throws ya curve balls, and ya never knew ya had it in ya to hit ’em out of the park.

And I gotta give a shout-out to Cousin Thom…Daddy C…a guy I love like a brother and one of the most talented musicians to ever come out of Lancaster.

We lip-synched together as kids at other kids birthday parties and such and enjoyed a wonderful “rivalry” in bands as went through our teens. Then I went into the service and Thom continued to hone his craft in terrific bands that people still talk about.

I thank Thom for his words here and for his friendship throughout. This is a guy who would truly give you the shirt off his back.

So…another set of words from someone who never seems to be at a loss for them, especially when it comes to talking about family. And between my cousin and my “brothers”, this is one family I’m proud to be part of.

    Peace to all…

  17. Hey Kurt
I haven’t been to this web site for awhile and I was happy to see that you and Yog had added some comments. I agree with what you guys said. I would love to know if Boo and Dick have ever seen this site. Thanks again Chris. By the way, how ironic that the date of your last posting was on Pop’s birthday. April 25 I tell ya’ He still watches over us Thanks Pop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Luv You Guys
    P.S, A shout out to Daddy C. What’s Up ?

  18. I have to say, I grew up in Lancaster.
I now live in Arizona and work for Atlas Sound. I was doing a search for pictures of our speakers and came across this site.

So strange, the only mention of the Atlas Sound Banshee I have ever come across is for a band from my home town. Very cool.

Does anyone know who’s copy of the poster that is?

    Thanks.

  19. Hey Steve,
Thanks for all the posts about the Couriers. I grew up in Strasburg, went to LS and all the dances at Willow Street Fire Hall and The Redwood House on Columbia Ave. You guys always packed the house when you played.

It was a shame to read of Barry Bruce’s passing. The Couriers and The Shaynes were the two groups that stood out in Lancaster, obviously because of their records.

Hey Dennis Sheppard. Do you remember The Seagrams 7 from Penn Manor? Mike Book was a member and is still playing in a group around the area. LS also had The Jades (I played drums. A very short lived group from Strasburg) that turned into Stark Raven and the Madmen.

Keep posting, guys, it’s great to read these stories from behind the scenes.

    1. Thanks for remembering the Seagram 7! Actually, 4 of the members were from Warwick HS(Jeff Kent on drums, Dave Deibler on keyboards, Dennis Balsbaugh and Mike Keller on guitars), 1 from McCaskey( base player Dave), and the 2 singers ( Bill Miller and Mike Book )were from Penn Manor- we actually were well received thruout the whole county and appreciated that. Those were good times and good memories from the past . Mike Keller

  20. The Couriers and The Shaynes! Now that brings back memories of dances at the Willow Street Fire Hall and The Redwood House on Columbia Ave. Who couldn’t like Lancaster’s own! Glad to see these posts and pictures. Looks like we have to dig up some more info on local Lancaster Bands.

  21. Great memories hangin’ at the Colson house after playing some fun gigs … Tom Drowd? Kenny ?, Brian, damn – is my memory getting that bad… oh yeah – the immortal Tom Colson. I have to admit the Valerie and the Chateau days are a bit clearer.

  22. Hey y’all…just me checkin’ back in cuz this place is suddenly deserted!

What? Did y’all forget us about us already?

It’s only been about…45 years or so since we played our last gig…how quickly we forget!

Just kiddin’…just wanted to give a shout-out to Carl and Darlene, who I had the pleasure of spending time with again a few weeks ago, a week before I got married to a wonderful woman who thought The Couriers were the gospel group.

Uh…not quite honey…but give us time.

So Hoag, Dick, Neil…if any of you are out there wonderin’ what me and Carl are up to, log on here and let us know you’re still alive and kickin’.

Time for another reunion guys…no kidding!

    Let’s do it.

  23. Hay Steve, You got married…….We need to get together. I am retired now so I have all the time in the world. I miss seeing you guys. I saw Dick in the parking lot at Home Depot about 2 or 3 years ago. I have not seen Carl in way to long and the last time I saw Neil was at the Stomping time Again party. time is passing us by way to fast.

  24. Hey Steve, Hoagie, Carl (I got you your first bass amp, remember?),Dick and my kid brother Butch,

This is your first “manager” Neil’s brother, the guy that begged you guys to enter the contest at the Moose Hall and you didn’t think you guys had a chance to win it. And Damn-it you won!!! Thanks too for the mention of me (by Carl) and how I used to say “KOOL”. I remember a birthday party you guys played at where you guys did the ‘Stones ” ‘Satisfaction” song about 50 times, that’s when I knew you guys were tight and could go somewhere with the band. I’m so proud that you won the contest at the Moose. Can I pick TALENT or WHAT??? So Steve, do you still puke before you go on stage for the first set? Ha! Ha! HA! how ’bout your James Brown imitation, can you still do the thing with the cape and all?

I was in Lancaster this past weekend, I’ve been living in California for the last 40 years. I came back there to see my son’s band play at the Symposium on Centerville Road last Saturday night. They were GREAT and they will play that venue again soon. The band is called Steel Kitty. They have a really feisty, foxey, lady as the lead singer. My son Tony is one of the two FANTASTIC guitarists. Neil (Butch) and I went to the gig together. We had a blast there. You guys should check out Steel Kitty playing there again around Thanksgiving.

Anyway, Neil and I hung out most of the week-end and we started talking about the Couriers. So, I am a retired computer geek and I had no trouble whatsoever discovering this fantastic website that pays tribute to all the Lancaster bands. Thank you Chris for putting up this site. It’s fantastic!

Thank you also Steve, for all the input you have uploaded to this site. You’ve brought back a lot of memories for me. I sure hope you guys have fond memories of me too. After all guys — I think it is safe for me to say that I DISCOVERED the Courier 5. Would you agree? Just kidding guys.

Great seeing these old memories again.

    Your old roadie (manager?)

    Ray Schuck

P.S. I can still see Butch singing Louie Louie (the XXX rated version) at the Schick Picnic where you guys played and nobody there knew a single word he was singing!!!!

  25. …The Couriers Brian Epstein!

    Hello Ray…it’s been a while.

What a trip to log on here and see your name…you were there at the birth of the band (or at least when the labor pains began) and we never forgot you!

Dancin’ around, pointin’ at the Kool pack either in your shirt pocket or in your hand…a vivid memory.

Lots of water under the bridge since then, huh?

It’s good to know you’re still around and your son carries on the family tradition.

Steel Kitty…at Symposium around Thanksgiving…that sounds doable.

This site has kept alive a band (actually, LOTS of bands) that never really played that last note in the hearts of those of us who wore the name.

And WHEN and IF we ever stop talking about it and actually DO IT (have another little get-together), it would be great if you were making one of your sojourns East to see your boy and, while you’re at it, see your boys.

We’d love to see you again Ray.

Speaking for The Couriers 5, it’s great hearing from you.

  26. Looks like you monitor this site Steve. Very KOOL (I haven’t smoked KOOL, or any other cigarette, since October 30, 1975). I sure had a lot of fun with you guys back in those days. I talked to Butch yesterday and told him he needs to “check-In” at this site and post something or just say Hi! He knows about the site, so there’re no excuses.

Hey guy, I flew back there last week-end JUST to see my son Tony’s band “Steel Kitty” play a live gig! I was also back there for a week at the beginning of September and I got a chance to see the band rehearse at the drummer’s house. They impressed me so much I had to come back and see them on-stage doing a live gig. I was not disappointed one bit. They kicked ass!

If, and I say a big IF!!! you guys EVER get the Couriers back together for a reunion gig, YOU LET ME KNOW WHEN IT’S GOING DOWN AND I WILL BE THERE! That’s a promise, by GOD!!! I’d love to see you guys again, really, I would.

I’ll check in here from time to time and see if Butch ever makes a post here. He’s got no excuse not to. Right?

Steel Kitty plays at the Symposium about every six weeks or so. The Symposium has a web page and their entertainment schedule is on their web page. The band should be there, as I said in my last post, around Thankgiving. BTW the “Kitty” in the band is a real cutie and quite the charmer. Not to mention, she is an ass-kickin’ singer. When she does Led Zep’s “Rock ‘n Roll” she really sounds like Robert Plant!!! I’m sure you’d like the band.

Well, Steve (and all the rest of the Couriers) it was a great find, discovering Cris’ page here, and I look forward to seeing continuing posts here from any and all of you.

    STAY KOOL!!!

    Ray

    1. Yo Neil…yeah, it was a real possibility, but we can’t reach Carl and I asked Dick about it, but I couldn’t get a good read on his opinion. I know Hoag, you and myself are into it, but…I don’t know what else to say. Time will tell, and we could be running out of that. I hope you’re well and I hope maybe we CAN get together someday soon.

  27. Have thoroughly enjoyed this site and have decided to pose a question to all of you Lancaster band scene guys. Anyone recall the short-lived band “The Chevelles” which included Cack Daecher, Bill Cunningham, Mike DeCostanzo, Maybe Bob Bitts and Bud Hill?

Also, a shout out to The Seven Dwarfs… Johnny Helm, Charlie Evans, Ron Keen, and others who I cannot recall.

  28. It’s Saturday morning, August 1, 2015, and later today the original Couriers 5 will be convening that long-awaited get-together. Five guys who played music together in their teens now sitting down in their 60’s to reminisce and check each other out…see who’s got hair and who doesn’t. I can’t wait to just look at the guys again and remember how much they meant to me and, more importantly, how much they STILL mean to me. We, like all bands do, took something from nothing, and made it happen. We made people dance, smile, and look forward to the weekends. I guess we even played matchmaker for a few couples. We did it as kids and now we’ll bring it all back as older men, many years removed and with not just a little nostalgia. Thank God for rock and roll.

  29. Today is August the 8th, 2015, just a short fifty years ago today, August 8, 1965, we played, (as the Couriers 5), our very first gig. It was a party at my brother’s house ( Ray Schuck ), we played it for free, and we played for a total of 7 HOURS! It was a ball! Very KOOL!!!!
    HAPPY 50th ANNIVERSARY EVERYONE!!!!!!!

  30. Hey guys, just found out about this sight. I remember all the fun all the local groups had at a number of gigs in the Lancaster area. I played drums for the Vandels out of Litiz and Tony Marania was our manager along with Tim Miller at the music store. Anybody remember the year that the Sky View ran the band contest. Each Saturday night for two months four different local bands would play before the movie started and then a winner for that night went to the final contest at the Sky View. We had a blast that summer doing a number of gigs with the Couries, Shaynes, and other local bands. I have been out of the area since 1971 and its been great reading all the posts from all of the members of these bands.

  31. I was just sitting on my deck talking to my neighbor Donna Johnson and she was telling me all about The Couriers. Her husband Jere Johnson is the younger brother of Dave Johnson. He is so proud of his brother and misses him very much. It was wonderful for me to hear all about The Couriers. I still collect the old 45 records and play them all the time. Wish I had Stomping Time. I listened to it on you tube. Great song!!!!

  32. i moved to lancaster in 1970, after navy, was after i got into d.j. ing that i got to know some of the local lanc. groups. i met steve kurtz back in the late ’70’s, when he used to run a record store in lanc! great guy haven’t seen him since the the 60’s get together at the conestoga in on oregon pike. if any of you like “good ol’ doo wop music” i do an internet radio show every fri from noon till 2 on doowopradio.com. i’ve played “stompin time again” many time in the past, “nobody nowhere” also on of my favs. on air i go by the name “your uptown irish doo-wop boy” so drop in join me in the chat room & say hi. love to have ya!!!

  33. Hey you guys.I just read thru all the comments from everyone
Now I can’t see because of the blur from the tears.

  34. We play your “Stomping Time Again” on TopShelf Oldies often. I do research for the Monday night Hi-Fi Party show, and I have one question.
When was “Stomping Time Again” released, so we can be accurate?
