Deutschen Beatbands

Die booken guten, Ja!! I "read" that book and it's real boss, groovy, far out and so on. I highly recommend it just for the pictures!

Also, there's a similar book about Italy's beat groups and I can say that I could almost read it.

But that's not all, there's a similar book about Spain's rock'n'roll groups, pop groups, beat groups, rock groups, prog rock groups -"anglo-saxon music groups"- that includes similar Latin American groups.

It's written in the colloquial and everyday Spanish ("Castilian") of Madrid which means that it wasn't that easy for me to read as I had to figure out what I was reading.

One fab note: In 1965 in Spain there was a feature on this one Spaniard beat cat who was basically Beatle John's twin. Also, wearing matador costumes Beatles Paul and George looked exactly like Spaniards.)

But wait, there's more, there's a book about Puerto Rico's "ye-ye" groups. One thing I found out was that nice pop singer star Sophie started out fronting a beat group in the mid 60s.

All of these books are highly illustrated and informative
